A rare managerial opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to join our management team! Experience in cafe management is a must as the successful applicant will be working in a hands-on position.
This position is suitable for a hard working, positive and enthusiastic chocolate lover seeking a challenging and rewarding position in the hospitality industry. As a manager you have an ability to build teams, by developing working relationships, improving motivation, communication and support within a team. You will have the overall aptitude to improve team performance by developing team working skills.
At Max Brenner we are also strongly focused on customer service; in the function of manager you possess the ability to constantly and consistently exceed the customer's expectations.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of the branch in conformance with company policies
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Implementing and promoting high standards of service to increase customer satisfaction
- Integrate operational standards to increase profitability
- Branch-level financial management
- Managing store budgets (stock, costs and labour)
- Staff management (recruiting, selecting and training) and maintaining job satisfaction
You must have:
- At least 3 years relevant hospitality management experience in a café and/or restaurant
- Exceptional customer service skills
- People management skills: including training and developing staff
- Experience with cost control: food and labour costs
- Computer literate with the ability to prepare and analyse spread sheets
- Sound knowledge of food safety regulations
- The ability to land and motivate a team
- Enthusiasm and flexibility
